Our Physical Education Program

                   What we learn becomes a part of who we are 

I am motivated in what I love to do which is teaching physical education. In this all new physical education program, the students will be learning about different sports, fitness, and fun activities to get the students  interested in PE. Each grade will be learning the basic skills and fundamentals of each unit we will be doing over the course of the school year.  

N-Pre-k: Will be learning their locomotive skills. Their PE classes will be filled                        with a lot of basic skills and fun games for each student to love. 

K-2: Will be starting with locomotive skills like skipping, hopping, jumping,                                galloping, running and walking. 

3-4: Will be starting with the bones and muscles in their body. Doing fun                         activities to go along with the bones and muscles they will be working on in class. 

5-8: Will be starting with the five components of fitness. Each component will               have a variety of fitness exercises and games that go along with it. 

Physical education is the teaching and leading of physical activity. 
Its goal is to improve and maintain student's current health and set them on a path to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout their lives. The goal of physical education classes is to introduce students to the basic elements of exercise that will lead to a healthy lifestyle. Students can also learn the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.
