Matthew Clareen
is a social studies teacher with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children. A native to Long Island, Mr. Clareen has always had aspirations to work in the classroom. Having been a struggling student, he knows all too well the impact and importance of the teaching profession. He has experience working with a variety of students, all with diverse backgrounds and unique learning needs. Now, more than ever, he understands the importance to take an active role in the changes taking place in the instruction of students. Mr. Clareen continues to dedicate his young life to public service and ensuring all students have access to an excellent education. 

Mr. Clareen has served as the Social Studies Teacher and the 8th Grade Homeroom Teacher for the middle school at St. Joseph School since September 2016.
